Accommodation
Villa Dara is a four-bedroom villa spread across two separate apartments with four bathrooms. The ground floor apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge, and a kitchen, while the upstairs apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a lounge but no kitchen. All bedrooms are large with ample family space on both levels, and the villa offers sea views, air conditioning, a dining area, and a washing machine.
Amenities
The villa features a year-round outdoor swimming pool with a deck area and sun loungers, surrounded by a garden and sun terrace. Guests have access to a garage for secure private parking on site, and the property offers free WiFi throughout. Spectacular views from the hilltop location extend all the way to Maspalomas dunes.
Location
Villa Dara is located on a hilltop in Playa del Ingles, 14 minutes' walk from San Agustin Beach and close to Yumbo Centre (5 km). Aqualand Maspalomas is 9 km away, and Gran Canaria Airport is 26 km from the villa. Scuba diving is available in the surroundings, and a car is recommended to explore the area.
Services
The host provides a welcome grocery package to help start the vacation, and the manager Elizabeth resolves issues promptly. The swimming pool is highly rated by guests, though it can be cold in cooler months and a pool heater is available for an additional 10% fee that takes two days to warm up. The internal door separating the two apartments has no security lock from both sides, so guests should confirm access policies.
Considerations
The upstairs apartment lacks a kitchen, and only the ground floor kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine and dishwasher. The televisions are not smart TVs and offer no streaming services. The top floor and ground floor are only accessible by outdoor steps, which can be slippery when wet.
Highlights
Rooms: Four bedrooms across two separate apartments
Pool: Year-round outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers
Parking: Secure garage for private parking
Views: Panoramic views to Maspalomas dunes
Location: 14-minute walk to San Agustin Beach
